Charlee Parker

Charlee began her Real Estate career when she and Rett and their small children moved to the Seeley Swan Valley for Rett’s Forestry career with BN Timber Lands. The country was big and wild and remote with very few jobs for people not in the timber industry. Real Estate was a good option and she earned her agent’s license and started knocking on doors. After 14 years she earned her Supervising Broker designation and became managing broker of Great Bear Properties . Throughout these years she loved representing buyers and sellers in the beautiful Mission and Swan Ranges. In 2003 Rett was transferred to The Flathead Valley to work in the Real Estate side of what was then Plum Creek. They moved to Whitefish and Charlee subsequently worked with Glacier Sotheby’s international Realty in the Whitefish Mountain Resort and Whitefish offices as a Broker Associate.

On a personal level, Charlee was raised in Edina, Minnesota and received her B.A. from St Catherine’s University in Minnesota where she met Rett. They moved to Montana as newlyweds and raised their three children, hiking, camping, boating, skiing and snowmobiling, in short, enjoying the great outdoors. They also loved travelling the state following their children’s athletics. Charlee was an elementary school board member for 11 years and found that in a Montana town it was mandatory to be involved!

Charlee’s career has spanned years in both a small Montana company and a global company, where she learned different marketing and selling skills. She prides herself in representing both buyers and sellers honestly and fairly, no matter the size or value of a property. Her enjoyment comes from successfully negotiating a sale and taking it to closing and beyond. She and Rett recently opened their own company, Great Northern Lands Montana. Charlee continues to use her years of experience in Western Montana to help clients realize their Montana dreams in the Flathead Valley. Rett is very busy representing SPP Montana, the new owner of BN/Plum Creek/Weyerhaeuser lands and helping them sell their large landscapes.
